REVIEWS My friends and I went for a meal here last night, they raved about it as being amazing food and service. The restaurant was beautiful and immaculately clean. The staff are so friendly, informative and helpful, making us feel so welcome and relaxed. The food was absolutely spot on- One of the best I’ve ever had, if not THE best!! I’ll definitely be making this a regular favourite of mine and couldn’t recommend Bengal Lounge enough.
Perfect night. Went with a group of 6 adults booked in but they managed to accommodate the extra 4 kids that were late arrivals. Had an amazing night, food n service was excellent and special attention to the dish” Naga” was absolutely delicious. No detail unturned.
Very good food. Huge choice on menu. Very nice relaxed friendly staff. Enjoyed it a lot.will definitely return next time we back in York.

Couldn’t fault the place, hand made high quality food made from scratch, wood fired oven, hand spun pizzas. The owner puts his heart and soul into the business and you can really tell.
Connor sorted us out for a works lunch and absolutely smashed it out of the park. A super selection of pizzas from New Yorker to Detroits. Go easy on the Detroit’s they are more substantial than you think! Stunning flavours, stunning service and an absolute dream to work with.
Very happy that I checked them out. Great pizza, fair prices.

Ordered Cannibal pizza, Boscaiola pasta, and Risotto Shark. All menus were tasty and came out quite quick. Their service was great as well! Highly recommend this place 🙂
The best Italian restaurant in York👌Food are cooked and served to perfection. Staffs are kind, very friendly and happy people. Would definitely recommend for both locals and tourists. A must try Sardegna food and drinks.
I was recommended this place by one of the lady waiter working here. This shows that the employees are proud of the place they work. What a great experience it was. I have been here twice and every experience was amazing. Coming from a hospitality background, this is my testimony about this place.
