An absolutely lovely independant shoe shop in York – we got the girls school shoes from here and I was impressed with how professional the show fitting service was – there was no rush in terms of time and I’m confident the girls have shoes that will last them well as well as loving the style! Highly Recommended.
I bought slippers for a Christmas present which Royal Mail failed to deliver. Watkinsons sorted out my problem straight away with no cost to me. They also discounted goods as a goodwill gesture. It was great to actually speak to someone who acted promptly. First class service – would not hesitate to recommend to a friend.
Wonderful, welcoming and full stocked shop. Myself and my partner were visiting York when we stumbled across this gorgeous shop. Inside we met a lovely lady called Alice who went above and beyond to help us in every way she could in order to help us pick the right boot for my partner. I cannot recommend this shop highly enough and will be shopping online and in store again soon.

Great service and tidy store even though very busy for Xmas. Helen, our customer service assistant was great and kind, she made our shop very easy and laid back. I hope Xmas bonuses are still a thing, or even employee of the month, she is deserved of both.
Helped by Iona today, excellent service and an asset to the store, nothing was too much trouble… even attempted to help us old farts with our tech. Hope the store appreciate this great lady.
I came into the store confused about my shoe size and unsure how I’d fit in converse. Johnny was incredible helping me find the right size and explaining the difference. Loved how friendly the staff were and this will now be my go to store for shoes.

Wasn’t impressed with this branch , local one ( Liverpool) more stock and fantastic customer care 5 stars
Friendly staff who allowed our dog to come in with us. Better than one plus dog remaining outside. Both of us came away with purchases.
Good selections of both men’s and women’s shoes at reasonable prices. Not the best quality out there but perfect for everyday wear that won’t break the bank.
