Very impressed with Howsham and the dine team! We got married here last June and had the most wonderful day. Craig was a pleasure to work and organise with, and he ensured the day ran very smoothly. The dine staff on site were also super professional and ensured everything was just the way we wanted it. We would highly recommend this venue!
We viewed many wedding venues in the area but as soon as we drove up to Howsham Hall we knew we had found the place we would get married. The venue is stunning with beautiful old fashioned touches yet in keeping with modern trends.
We had the most wonderful wedding day (and weekend) at Howsham Hall. The Dine team – led by Craig – could not have been more helpful and professional. It is truly a magical venue and we lost count of the number of comments and compliments from our guests about everything – the surroundings and also the food (huge portions and great quality.

It was a favourite residence of Richard III and Henry VIII and is steeped in 600 years of royal history. We visited the castle to see santa. It was so amazing and very well organised. We’ve been walking around the castle for years and always wanted to see inside. It didn’t disappoint and can imagine getting married in such an epic space. What a unique venue.
I cannot recommend this place enough. We stay in The Shepherd’s Hut which is such a cute little hut which sleeps 2 and also our Dog. I think we’ve stayed here 4 times now, it’s definitely one of our favourite get aways. It’s just such a beautiful original place and so peaceful.
Incredible views, dramatic features and beautiful accommodation nestled within the historic Sheriff Hutton Castle. An astronomer’s dream with dark sky’s highlighting every lunar array visible to the eye. Our welcoming hosts introduced us to this humble part of the countryside and their animals (too loving to be labelled as livestock). The hosts also showed us the local walking routes and provided information for other local activities.

We’re Charlie aka Apple Charlotte and Jon Rooke, a husband and wife team based at our family farm in Sand Hutton, near York, in God’s Own Country (that’s Yorkshire to those not in the know). I recently conducted a wedding ceremony in the Piggery at White Syke Fields. It’s a really cool, fresh looking space with loads of cool details. The acoustics were perfect for our intimate wedding ceremony and it had a nice mix of inside and outside space. The staff were really hands on and helpful – oh and the chickens were pretty cute too
Brilliant venue happy helpful and all round lovely staff we had a brilliant day
Recently attended a wedding at White Sykes Fields and it was the perfect setting. Charlie couldn’t have been more accommodating and helpful. 10/10 would recommend.
