As always great service from the team, sorted my back last year following a painful disc problem. Haven’t felt so well in years. Been back today for shoulder problem, really pleased with the outcome. Thanks
I was recommended by a couple of people at work, suffering with back pain and the stretches the hospital gave me weren’t making much of a difference. Ross has improved my life dramatically, not only treating the issue but giving me advice on how to improve my posture to prevent a recurring issue.
I can’t recommend Heworth Osteopathic Practice too highly. The staff are welcoming and knowledgable. They are so good that I have decided to go to them on a fixed regular basis to ease my muscular and joint pain. My particular thanks to Ross who is excellent.

I have recently received a series of treatments for a complex injury to my arm and hand. It was a frightening and anxious time for me as I anticipated a possible long term injury. Trevor carried out a thorough assessment and using his extensive knowledge and experience he was able carry out treatments that led to a gradual full recovery, for which I am very grateful.
Please note that this private, independent practice is working within the Jorvik Gillygate Practice. I’ve suggested an edit to Google Map. Had my first session this morning and have signed up for another follow up session with Trevor. I finally knew the root cause of my knee pain and really hope I can start running again.
After having spent 3 weeks of shoulder and neck spasms plus 7 hours in A&E and no nearer a answer to my shoulder problem except a lot of tablets I managed to get an appointment with Trevor to have a look at it.

Such a lovely person who is clearly highly motivated to help people. I have been getting 1:1 Pilates exercises and very quickly started to see a difference with my physical strength and function. Chapeau Terri 💪👏
I’ve been suffering with hip, back, knee and more recently, foot pain for several years. I have arthritis on both sides of my family and just put it down to the inevitable genetics and getting old. I’ve tried a chiropractor and had physio on the NHS with no success.
I just had my first appointment…. thorough treatment and done with kindness and safety. Terri is great and provides Pilates exercises to help as well
