My friends and I went for a meal here last night, they raved about it as being amazing food and service. The restaurant was beautiful and immaculately clean. The staff are so friendly, informative and helpful, making us feel so welcome and relaxed. The food was absolutely spot on- One of the best I’ve ever had, if not THE best!! I’ll definitely be making this a regular favourite of mine and couldn’t recommend Bengal Lounge enough.
Perfect night. Went with a group of 6 adults booked in but they managed to accommodate the extra 4 kids that were late arrivals. Had an amazing night, food n service was excellent and special attention to the dish” Naga” was absolutely delicious. No detail unturned.
Very good food. Huge choice on menu. Very nice relaxed friendly staff. Enjoyed it a lot.will definitely return next time we back in York.

Have been ordering my dinners from this place in the past week. Good service, great food and there’s a student discount as well. I’ve ordered three different types of curries so far and they all fared above expectation. The lamb is always soft and tender and doesn’t have the strong “lamby” taste. Will definitely be returning for more.
My 3rd takeaway this week from here not something I normally do but it’s just the best around. Good portion sizes and always nice salad and sauces. The madras flavour is 100%
After moving into this area I was looking for a new Indian/Bangladeshi restaurant a bit closer to home. I have to say that I was more than impressed with the food quality and quantity. Food was delivered streaming, the starters were lovely, nan bread was delicious, my only comment would be about the Madras, I personally like it spicier. Besides that, absolutely great food. I will be coming back for more. Keep up the good work

Alway a pleasure to eat at this restaurant the food is very good the staff are friendly The restaurant is small but clean, My family often enjoy eating here when Visiting the area, highly recommended.
Sizzling Plate in Stamford Bridge but the one in Copmanthorp is absolutely excellent. Top food, top service and you can take your own booze. The best Lamb Garlic in York.

Good food, bring your own alcohol, so a great place for a cheap meal out.
