A very pleasant experience, similar to other Cote restaurants across the country. York staff were very friendly and accommodating. Delicious food, quickly served. Nice atmosphere.
The French Breakfast was absolutely amazing!! Best black pudding I’ve ever had, the staff were outstanding and so friendly .We didn’t have a booking but they managed to accommodate me and my friend, definitely worth a visit!!
Fantastic! Having eaten at Norwich and Bournemouth restaurants York has not disappointed the food was excellent the staff wonderful. Can not wait to go back. Really recommend this place. Special thanks to all the wonderful staff especially MALWINA for making us feel welcome.

Came up as a good place to eat on trip advisor and the barbers i used in York recommended it so we thought we should give it a go.
A fantastic French bistro in York City Centre! Plenty of seating upstairs with quick and attentive staff, even on a Saturday! Great choices for set menu, including prices.
A really good place to eat whatever the occasion. The food has a distinctly French feel and was well cooked and presented. The staff were lovely – runoff their feet as it was Mother’s Day but gave individual attention nonetheless. We all loved it and it’s atmosphere. We will be back and I would certainly recommend to others.

My wife took me here for my birthday sitting at the chefs table and it was fantastic. The wine pairing was very good with some interesting wines for each course, but the non alcoholic pairing was exceptional.
Unbelievable! A fab experience from start to finish. The attention to detail of every tiny element of this evening was incredible. The surprise with each course made it so fun and exciting – with great service and a narrative to make each dish come alive. The food itself has phenomonal flavours that linger and grow in your mouth, and the wine pairing took it to a different level. Exceptional all round… Well done team cochon
