Danny is fantastic with my eldest son, his confidence, football knowledge and skills have come on so much since joining Tekkers! My younger son is very excited to follow in his brother’s footsteps after having an amazing time at the holiday camps! Danny is so patient and passionate about helping each player in his academy. I would highly recommend!
My son has been with Tekkers for the past 18 months, and he has really thrived under Danny’s coaching. There is regular feedback with regards to my sons strengths and weaknesses within the game which is really beneficial, and Danny also offers advice on how to improve his football skills. I highly recommend Tekkers academy for any child who enjoys the game of football and is looking to progress.
Tekkers offers really good sessions, top coaching and great fun. Players can expect lots of creative technical work, fitness and small-sided games with a focus on good quality football. The kids also benefit from regular personalised feedback and challenges, as well as the use of tracking data to improve performance. My son (U12) loves the group

What We Offer:

Poppleton JFC has received a grant for new portable football goals in North Riding, thanks to the Premier League & The FA Facilities Fund Small Grants Scheme, which provides grants towards developing new or refurbished grassroots football facilities. The grant has enabled Poppleton JFC to purchase new full-sized portable goals, to replace old, unsafe ones that were no longer fit for purpose. This will enable easier and faster cutting of the pitches by long-standing groundsman Jim Ferguson.

Great set up for girls finals day
This is a fantastic football club to get involved with. The under 6 team has great coaches, who teach good skills while making the game fun; my son loves attending ! You can pay for subs online and the have an excellent choice of hot and cold food to enjoy, while the kids play footie ! Great club all the way around.
What a marvellous community building! It’s large enough for a ‘do’ but cosy too. There was a mixture of ages here last night and corners for everyone, both young and old(er). It’s very clean and light and airy. The feel of the building is welcoming. Perhaps that reflects the people of Poppleton.

What We Offer:

Fulford Football Club is a FA Charter Standard Community Club based to the south of the City of York. We provides opportunities for young players of both sexes from Under 6’s to 10’s in the York Mitchell Sports Mini-Soccer Football Leagues, Under 11’s to Under 19’s in various local leagues, and at open-age. All our teams train throughout the winter months on Astroturf at various local venues with coaching provided by volunteers, we try to ensure there is at least one coach per team having a minimum FA Level 1 coaching certificate.
