We are fully insured through AIG Insurance, DBS checked (formerly known as CRB) and have pet first aid training. We walk dogs off-lead and use reward based training to encourage recall with treats and lots of praise. We are experienced dog walkers and quickly build rapport so they trust us and can’t wait to go on an adventure when we collect them.

We have used Danny and the team at Good Boy since Betty our spaniel was a puppy she is now nearly 4. We also have a 14 year old spaniel that they have cared for. Both our girls are very special rescue dogs and are part of our family I would not trust anyone else to care for them. Betty absolutely loves going out with her friends and it has helped with her obedience and confidence she really gets excited about her walks.
I was fortunate enough to find Good Boy Pet Services in York as I am here to work on an event. My dog is allowed to come with me but I wanted him to enjoy time out with other dogs, rather than just walking around town. My dog took to Danny immediately, and after the first day was so happy to see his white van and jumped straight in without a backwards glance to me!

I would recommend Karen to anyone. She looks after our little dog as if she was her own and goes above and beyond. We have had a few issues with our dog’s behaviour as she has been in her teenage phase and Karen has been patient, helpful and really supported us with managing it.
Karen is absolutely brilliant with our little pup and his walks with her and Archie are hands down the highlight of his week! Karen always goes above and beyond to fit him even if its last minute- when we had a personal emergency she really supported us with extra walks to help out. She’s also really helped improve his recall and his reactivity and we love getting walkie pictures! 📸 Couldn’t recommend her enough
Our little ‘Chiweenie’ Cooper has been going out with Karen for some time now. He loves his little tootle around the park with Karen and is so excited when she arrives. As well as being very friendly and trustworthy we have also found Karen to be very knowledgeable with dogs and we have often asked her advice.

We enlisted Laura’s help after worrying about some aggression issues towards other dogs, with our seven year old spaniel. She has been wonderful to work with. She offers realistic and practical advice, getting us to reconnect with our dog and better understand him.
Having got a new puppy and wanting her to enjoy new experiences with others dogs I found Laura’s service “paws2please” and loved her attitude and outlook on caring for other people’s dogs as she saw them as looking after a member of someone’s family and the responsibilities that come with that.
Estelle is a life-saver in terms of pet sitting. Simple as that. Our kittens love her! We have entrusted them in her care both when they were tiny and a bit older, on both occassions for a week or longer. We came back to happy, healthy kittens, and even got some kitten photos for us when we were away. She is very professional and just a lovey person you can easily let into your house and entrust your pets with. We cannot recommend Estelle’s pet care enough!
