We only had one night in York and this place appealed to us and I’m glad that we went. The food was fabulous and try a very high quality and what makes it even better is the friendliness of the staff who are very welcoming. When I’m back this will be a certainly.
Food is so delicious and the service is amazing and it’s so close to the Minster ! Delicious Halal food
The food was very tasty and the portion sizes were great 👏🏾, the waiting staff and chef were very friendly. I would highly recommend.

I came here as an end of term meal with a group of students. The staff were lovely and friendly, the food was absolutely divine! In the range of starters we had, the hummus was the highlight (best in York from our extensive tests!) and the bread that came with the starters is the best bread I’ve ever had in my life. Would definitely recommend. 
Stumbled upon this amazing restaurant after our original choice was closed. Wow, the mixed grill for 2 was huge and delicious, everything cooked to perfection. Moussaka was beautiful and lamb kebabs gorgeous. We all really enjoyed our meal, service was amazing and would definitely recommend and absolutely going back again 👍

Chose this restaurant due to close location to our hotel. It is in a quiet place a bit away from crazy busy center. During lunch time on a public holiday it was almost empty. Service was friendly, attentive. Cleanliness was also good.

Founded in 2015 by Tarik Abdeladim, we began in a small gold shed in the Shambles Market. After three years of cooking and learning, we’re opening a restaurant. The street food stall has always been a space for meeting and eating together; eating well and not too seriously. Our restaurant gives us chance to make dishes we can’t at the market, and to welcome people to eat with us night and day.

Lovely little space in the heart of York. Very authentic Turkish cuisine not to be missed. The food is delicious as is the drinks available. Perfect for a spot of lunch

The cassoulet was rich and tasty and the cheesecake with turkish delight was outstanding.

What a find! The lamb shank was perhaps the best lamb I have had ever. It fell off the bone and dissolved in a burst of flavour in the mouth. The halloumi was done in.
